I just recieved this forwarded email from D.:

"You are now, officially (I've checked with Prof. Egly), the FIRST-EVER ULV COL student to obtain a full-time summer externship in the chambers of any federal judicial officer other than Judge Larson. That's a terrific accomplishment for you, and I will make sure it gets the attention it deserves -- and then more, when the paying job comes through!"

I could not be more proud of my husband! He is so amazing! Way to go babe.

{ Grocery Bargin of the Week }

**Apples and Oranges are 50 cents a pound at Stater Bros this week! What a deal! We go through like 16 apples a week, and today I bought 8 for $1.74!! (Sorry for you out of staters, I think Stater Bros is only a California thing)
**Ralphs also has 1 dozen eggs for $1.50, GREAT deal with egg prices so high!

So this picture concludes the massive update! This is the Foate girls and the Brown family, playing on the super fun bean bag that D. had waiting for us upon our return from AZ!
One small thing I forgot to mention is that my awesome and amazing husband was made Editor and Chief of the University of LaVerne College of Law, Law Journal in late February! He is such a hard worker, and is doing great things for the young law review! All hail to the chief!

We took a quick trip to the beach to meet up with the "surfing brotherhood" (D. Bishop and Mike), it was AWESOME weather, but the water was super cold!
